WHO WE ARE

Kamp Townsend Purdy, Esq.

Kamp was born and raised in West Bloomfield, MI.  Named after a deer hunting camp in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Kamp followed his heart and attended Michigan State University on a swimming scholarship.  After graduating with a bachelor of science degree in 1996, Purdy enrolled at the University of Kentucky School of Law, graduating in 1999 and passing both the Michigan and Kentucky bar examinations.  The first 18 years of his legal career were spent with Fogle Keller Purdy PLLC, managing the firm and its six offices from 2012 through 2017.

Purdy began his firm with the simple goal of helping people.  Kamp’s strong faith and life experiences govern his legal philosophy and his unique approach towards clients.  Life presents problems.  Emotion clouds our ability to focus on the issues and address them accordingly.  By developing a situational approach, tailored through consistent and responsive client communication, trust will begin to grow, and anxieties will lessen.

Kamp is blessed to have three beautiful children and makes his home in Lexington, Kentucky.
